Creativity for Change

The GECKO programme was established in 2008 to offer free, innovative educational programs to smaller city high schools in China, inspiring children to become environmental ambassadors to their communities and encourage their friends, family, and future employers to develop a more sustainable lifestyle.

A small grant was provided towards Greenovate's 2010 goal to empower 50,000 young students across China, enlisting help from 500 university student volunteers by training them to deliver the GECKO program to high schools themselves.
